At the invitation of President Joko Widodo, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima will pay a state visit to the Republic of Indonesia from Tuesday 10 March to Friday 13 March 2020. They will visit Jakarta and Yogjakarta on the island of Java as well as the islands of Kalimantan and Sumatra.

Foreign trade and development minister Sigrid Kaag, infrastructure and water management minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen, medical care and sport minister Bruno Bruins and agriculture, nature and food quality minister Carola Schouten will head a broad parallel trade mission to Indonesia to capitalise on the potential for economic partnership in the areas of agriculture, healthcare, coastal protection and the maritime industry, and circular economy and water technology. Over 130 businesses will take part in the mission.

Machinefabriek Boessenkool is joining the Netherlands Trade Mission parallel to the State Visit to Indonesia during which she was part of a signing ceremony. Witnessed by  and Foreign trade and development minister Sigrid Kaag and VNO NCW President Hans de Boer, Boessenkool signed a minimum 10 year exclusive co-operation agreement with P.T. Mega Guna Ganda Semesta from Jakarta. The contract involves the delivery of MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) Processing Equipment, turning MSW into a Char, which will reduce the Indonesian Carbon Footprint drastically. Further the ckmpanies will in JV setup an equipment manufacturing company, creating hundreds of jobs and setting up multiple MSW processing sites across Indonesia. Boessenkool CEO Eelco Osse wants to thank Mega Guna for their trust in Boessenkool and is looking forward to a long lasting mutual prosperous business relationship with Mega Guna. Eelco Osse announced already the cooperation on the New Years event of the WTC Twente Business Club.
